Spring has arrived, the flowers are blooming, the weather is amazing (albeit a tad bit moody and verging on PMS) – and I am beyond thrilled to be shooting outside! These are just a few of my favorites from a recent session. This is the sweetest little guy, and I think we’ll be friends for a long long time. We had a blast shooting at Gibraltar, and it warms my heart to see such genuine smiles, and unconditional happiness.

For more information on our Special Needs portrait sessions, please contact the studio. I am thrilled to be able to offer complimentary portraits for any Special Needs family in the Delaware Valley. I believe it’s important that every family have the opportunity to see their child in a beautiful, artistic fashion – no matter what the condition, or situation may be.
I also work closely with an organization called The Littlest Heroes Project, and it is my honor to offer completely free sessions to families who have children with serious illness or life altering disability. For more information on this service, please visit the Littlest Heroes website.

Aaaaah… Puerto Rico. Truly, one of the most beautiful places in the caribbean. We spent a week in San Juan, and just one of those days was spent walking all over Old San Juan. It’s so filled with history, love, life and texture. The people were fantastic, the views unbelievable and the peace we found was staggering. A few of my favorite images are below. I have 400+ from this trip, so choosing just 8 of my favorites was an impossible task…

It is so rare that I get a baby in here with as many expressions and as much personality as this little girl had. I swear to the Gods above that the very first shot I took was a purely beautiful smile, and it only got better from there. It was the most fun to shoot, and editing these pictures had me giggling into my coffee…

About 1/2 of the way through the session, her mom and dad looked at me and told me that they brought their Grateful Dead t-shirts, and wanted to know if we could work them into a picture or two. Absolutely. Unfortunately, their dearest daughter didn’t care much for that idea – and it looks like mom and dad have some heavy convincing to do if they ever want their daughter to be a deadhead like her parents. lol… and there go the giggles again…

Lastly – this one is 110% for the photographer who is a die hard Nittany Lion fan. Imagine my heart going pitter pat when dad whips this hat out! I think I’ve died and gone to State College heaven… Let’s Go State! And for the record, I do not think Joe-Pa should retire… just sayin.

Whew! It’s been a while since I’ve posted a new set of images! My amazing husband and I just returned from a much needed vacation to San Juan, Puerto Rico – and I’ve got over 400 images to sift through! I will post my favorites soon! I am refreshed and ready for the insanity that the next few months will bring… by the looks of my calendar, I won’t be getting much rest!
In the meantime, I’m starting with two sessions that I shot right before I left. This first session was so cute. I felt so bad for this little guys dad – he was the target of every bodily function that could possibly come in to play – but dad took it in stride (dare I say, he might have actually had fun!)
Cute, cute!
